2. Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary

American humorist, writer David Sedaris' newest book features a different approach than his usual collection of hilarious essays. This time he creates his own version of modern Aesop fairy tales. This is a very clever little book, while reading about various animals I can't help but hear David Sedaris' voice reading them in my head.
This is a comical fun read recommended for any fan of his work.

1. Full Dark, No Stars

My first read of 2011 is Stephen King's Full Dark, No Stars. The four stories that make up this collection are dark, gritty tales. While there are some tough moments in these stories, all four are fantastic. This is highly recommended, but not for the faint of heart. Stephen King blows my mind once again.
